I’m looking for a React developer to help diagnose performance issues in a web app used for a travel business.
The app is already functional, but some parts of the interface feel slower than they should, especially when navigating between views or loading data-heavy sections. Before I invest in larger development work, I want a developer to review the frontend and identify what may be causing the slowness.
This is a small diagnostic task, not a full rebuild.
What I need help with:
review the relevant React code/components
identify likely causes of slow performance
point out obvious issues such as unnecessary re-renders, poor state handling, or oversized components
suggest the most important improvements to prioritize first
The app includes typical travel-related views such as listings, booking details, filters, and dashboard-style pages, so experience with data-heavy interfaces is a plus.
What I can provide:

notes on which parts of the app feel slow
brief context on how the affected pages are used
Deliverable:
A short technical diagnosis explaining the likely cause of the slowdown, plus practical recommendations on what should be improved first.
